Salabanda Süd is right at home in the heart of the neighbourhood – and that is where we spend a large part of our everyday life too. Whether at Jungstraßenspielplatz, Traveplatz or Müggeldschungel, the local area becomes a place of learning and discovery for our children every day. Music, movement and exploring together are simply part of what we do. A Brazilian musician visits us every week, and the children also take part in activities offered by the music school on Zellestraße. Once a week, we also use a nearby gym where the children can move, climb, balance and develop their motor skills with great enthusiasm. Children who need additional support receive speech therapy directly at our daycare centre. This allows support and everyday life to be combined naturally – individually, close to daily routines and without extra journeys for families. We believe children learn best when they are free to actively discover their world. That is why we are out and about a lot, listen to them, pick up on their ideas and create a lively daycare routine together.
